Denzil's online shopping centre.

"Why should I use Denzil's online shopping centre?"

Like any reknown high street company out there in retail land, its essential that they have "a point of difference"

Denzil's is no exception!

What's different about Denzil's?
There are hundreds of internet shopping websites out there in the online world. Some are excellent, some are average. Some offer shopping via their website, where the customer pays them, others, promote internet business' where you can buy direct from the company.

No one is forcing you to use Denzil's, a simple google search for "online shopping" throws up a whole host of websites trying to tempt you into using them to shop online. Denzil's is different.

To the casual viewer, this site might look ragged, ill thought out and unorganised. You would be correct in part, for thinking this, there is a good reason.

Denzil's rule one: "This is not an automated website"
Most websites out there on the internet, are designed and built, from automatically generated templates, with the sole intention of attracting the most customers with the minimum of effort. (Which makes sense)
From the company logos to the brief information listed about each company, every shopping website I've looked at, has automated links, updated from another website.
That's not to say all are like this, but I've
yet to find one that isn't.
Denzil's online shopping centre, will change on a regular basis. All pages, links, etc, are almost entirely updated manually. Why?
It keeps the site content upto date, offers that come through to me, via email, are updated as soon as possible, so that you can take advantage of them.

Denzil's rule two: "All websites listed are reknown, trusted, market leading high street or web based companies, so customer's can shop in a safe and secure environment"
If you look around online, you will see various shopping websites, advertising "More than 3000 companies listed!" "Shop safely for all your needs!"

I dare say that most of these websites are indeed safe. Denzil's chooses to do things differently.

This website is in place, to save you money by shopping with companies, that we all use. High street companies are accountable, you can walk into one of their branches or phone their head office and get any problems sorted out.
These companies have a management structure, from the branch to the area to the head office, redress, if you need it, is inplace and has been for years. This is vital for both yours and my, peace of mind.
Where Denzil's is different, is in experience. I've worked in shops and stores, for more than 17 years, I know how the system works overall. I am not an expert in marketing.
I want you to save money, I also want you save money in a safe and secure environment. I expect your custom to be treated as I would expect to be treated.

With respect, if you are looking for "Burt's flowers" (apologies if your company is called this) to save a couple of quid, you won't find it at Denzil's!
If you are looking to compare prices that reputable high street and web based companies are offering for products, then you are in the right place.

You, as the customer, shop directly with the company you choose. Denzil's provides links to these companies, nothing more.
Denzil's will not try to influence which products you buy, this website is designed to highlight choices

Denzil's rule three: "Denzil's will be listing all reliable well known companies, where permission for us to do so, is given."
This rule, makes, I believe, Denzil's the only internet shopping website, that offers links to market leading companies, regardless of internet promotion!

Every company this website lists, has to give their permission before any links or advertising can take place. Some companies we want, allow us to advertise whilst the request is "pending"
These companies then view Denzil's online shopping centre, and either accept the website into their program or refuse it. To date we have had some refusals. This can be due to the website layout (in its early days so far) it can be refused on the grounds that it will be advertised alongside other companies that they are in direct competition with, or it could simply be refused on the grounds that its not accepting any new websites.
Where a company refuses permission for us to join their program, we will re-apply once more work has been done on the website or content is improved etc. I will not stop until I get them, if they are worth getting, they are worth waiting for.

Some companies have their own internet promotions. This involves going directly to the company's people and requesting permission to join them, so we can use them on the website. We have two major companies that have accepted us. More are on the way.

The unique part of this rule, is when a company has no internet promotion scheme to join, but has a reputation of excellent customer service and competitive pricing, we will be linking them on the site.
The company will either be one that I've used regularly over the years, or one that comes highly recommended from a person I trust.
Other shopping websites list companies that pay them commission, after they sign up to a program. Denzil's also lists companies that has internet promotion programmes, but Denzil's will be listing companies that don't have internet promotion programmes, as long as they are market leading ones.

Denzil's rule four: "The sole purpose of this website is to help you save money, on the products that you want to buy!"
Now the good stuff!

Most websites promote shopping tips, or ways to shop that can help you. Gift ideas, for example, suggestions of what you might want to buy. Denzil's is not here for that. No lists of what's popular, or what's "ideal".
There is also a vast array of online discount vouchers doing the rounds at any one time. Denzil's will not be simply listing these under the heading, "Discount vouchers" and then leave you to trawl through them in the vain hope that you might come across one that can save you money on what you might want to buy!
Where Denzil's will be listing these vouchers, is where and when you actually need it!
Denzil's is not an automated site, why should you trawl through the lists of vouchers?
This website will be updated manually, ie, its responsive to what you need. It's is my job to keep upto date with voucher offers and here at Denzil's when you search for a product, any discount vouchers available for that product, will be highlighted. This applies to free delivery offers and all the 10% offers, etc.
Discount is no use to you if you search for a product, then have to go through a whole different section, on the off chance you might find a voucher there, that might be relevant to your product, is it?

Denzil's will target any discounts that might apply, to your product search.

Denzil's rule five: "Denzil's is always open to suggestions from any users."
I don't determine which companies you shop with on the internet, you do.
I try to list the companies we all use, which have established customer service and back up services should there ever be a problem.

Sometimes, there will be companies, that you can personally recommend, in that instance, simply email me and we'll sort it out for the benefit of all of us using the site.
Perhaps you have a suggestion that can improve the way the site is laid out? Maybe you would like to see a link to a new catagory or would like to see a section split into two catagories?

Regardless of your enquiry, please feel free to drop me a line, chances are, It might be because I've missed something.
