time goes by so quickly, yer sprogs grow up so fast... so why waste it by putting them into the care of some school leaver in a nursery? i over heard the street kids discussing the merits of which wwf wrestler is best yesterday, that was me, 30 years ago discussing which panini football stickers id got, with my friends.
when i look at my sprog flat out in her chair, does she know that i am teaching her to be a robot of the work culture? before she knows it shell be at school being programmed to graft her life away just to make ends meet, her childhood is prescious and should not be treated lightly.
what about my own "development"? yesterday, i flew a kite for the first time in years... gotta keep doing stuff for me and not "the system" everyday/week i try to experience something new or id forgotten id done in the past.
when was the last time you flew a kite? have you ever flown a kite? try it...
England's complete collapse at the world cup finals, is a scenario that could be associated with everything else in the UK for the past decade.... its all marketing - hype - hot air - style - no substance....
THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES!!!!
pathetic media attempts to get the correct line on what happened to england wont wash.... the newspapers media etc, stage manage so much utter pap, rarely if ever have i seen an england team play so crap, full of players built up in the style of heat magazine... over paid. "we cannot understand how we could qualify so well, yet perform so poorly once we got there???"
i can... to get in the squad would enhance the player's transfer value this summer, with most coming upto the end of their football careers, they needed to be in that squad. carried away by their own media inflated egos, earning more than my total mortgage each week, even for those that did not get into the first team..... their egos popped, they were shown what many knew they were already.... fakes! comment of the year so far... "the players have already voiced objections to the formation of 4-4-2 the manager's been using!" what has formation got to do with big headed over paid lazy players, who didnt have the nounce to see that there was no midfield against germany and instead of staying up front looking for a glory goal, they should have been protecting the back four??
the same can be said of many other things in the UK over the past decade - X FACTOR/POP IDOL - ripping children off to vote many times over for complete rubbish, then going out on tour with all the failures, charging kids more money... whilst the watchdogs do NOTHING, they dont even force them to publish the results until after the series is over.... waste of space time and money, WAKE UP... its a marketing con! - INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE - government borrowing the equivilent of £24000 per man woman and child living in this country, but doing it for "our" future.... rubbish! doing it to fund give aways to groups and bodies so they can cling to power and their high paid jobs more like... another con trick
the list is endless, and people need to wise up.... for too long they have been conned....
just been watching question time, where an eighteen year old lass, with a posh accent told everyone "VAT is such a regressive tax that will only hit the poorest hardest, it is unfair!" what a load of bollocks.
im getting sick to the back teeth of hearing this tripe being spouted. FACT: VAT is a form of indirect taxation.... ie, you only pay it when you buy things! - petrol, cigarettes and alcohol duty is being FROZEN - VAT is not put on food or childrens clothes
VAT is put on snacks, sweets, soft drinks, etc... so if a "poor" person stops buying crap, and starts hitting their local markets buying fresh fruit and veg, then they will not pay any VAT in their food bill.
we have had labour's direct taxation, years of it, where taxes are taken from source, ie, peoples income BEFORE they receive it, they have no choice but to pay it. a system that takes taxes from income before people get it, only benefits those with wealth that can pay for financial advisors to find ways to avoid paying it.... for the "poor" there is no way out of it! THATS REGRESSIVE, not progressive. indirect taxation allows me to choose if i wish to pay the extra tax, buy something, if not, dont buy it... it really is that simple.
the VAT increase brought in through the budget raises taxes by just 2.5p for each pound spent, before you jump on the labour election bandwagon, you might want to aim your fire at the businesses who will raise prices by more than inflation (due to lack of a labour government's regulation and control) and blame the government's VAT rise for the increase, because half wits like you cannot do basic maths and spot that price rises are supposed to be just 2.5p per pound spent!
talking of half wits....... ED BALLS... for years you were asked to appear on question time and other tv shows, where the public could ask you direct unscripted questions... for years you were "too busy" or unavailable... now hes on every show on every channel.
how he has the cheek to attack the coalition about people being allowed to apply to set up their own schools outside of education authority control, when ed balls himself, was elected on a policy opposing grant maintained schools, then after 5 years re introduced them under a different name, "city academies" then later just "academies" with ed balls himself then ending the requirement to only be able to set one up if £2 million in funding was raised from the private sector - ie, businesses - and he now tells anyone that will listen, that...
- its wrong for businesses to be involved in setting up schools - its unfair for schools to take funding from local education authorities - its wrong to have funding provided by the private sector (ie, businesses) for schools outside of education authority control
so what exactly is an academy school, that ED BALLS brought in (after spending 5 years getting rid of grant maintained schools)?
"... Schools have to raise £2m to become an academy - from private organisations such as business, faith or voluntary groups. But universities, high performing colleges and schools will now be exempt from that requirement, after schools secretary Ed Balls called for more universities to get involved in running academies.
The [labour]government contributes typically about £25m. The private organisation runs the school outside of the local education authority's (LEA) funding control, but still operates it within all the national requirements for curriculum and standards."
the labour government gave around £25 million of taxpayer's money to each academy set up, pray tell ED BALLS where did this money come from? thats right.... straight out of the education budget which state run schools depend upon!
still... not to worry..... no harm done in being misled by a labour MP, isnt that right ED BALLS, you hypocrit!

fair play?
im sat here, its late a night, silent in hoover towers and im thoroughly demoralised.
ive given my time to coach and build a small cricket team, capable of competing in a local schools competition, all for free. the kids that are in the team and the numerous others who came along every monday to practice have given their effort and practiced. today was the day of the competition, and to watch them playing against another school side, that conveniently had a player missing and was able to field its best player twice, was gut wrenching. i asked why their best player was permitted to play twice as long in the match, i received no answer or recognition.
i was always brought up, with the understanding that cheats may prosper once in a while, but on the whole they will lose, what goes around comes around etc etc etc.
this is just the latest in a long line of examples, whereby those that have cheated are getting away with it: - the seat car that was clearly mis sold, lies were told about its performance, reliability, warranty, yet the company concerned are still selling the bill on, even though its in dispute and no official body will do anything about it, despite agreeing totally that a disputed account cannot be sold on. - the local cowboy, who plows a neighbour full of ale, then charges them top whack, cash in hand, to do jobs for them... a form of "networking" - making money off the back of friends, which i find abhorant. - the "celebs" that have got drugged up or smashed out of their brains, seen by newspapers, yet months later they are playing at grounds such as old trafford alongsiode international footbal players and on tv every 5 minutes - piers morgan, a classic example, here is a bloke who was forced to resign from his job as a newspaper editor, for publishing fake pictures of our brave lads fighting in iraq, and ran the story that our troops were torturing the iragi prisoners - gets a job on britains got talent (like hed know) now has a top job on usa tv... wheres the justice in that? - like the website forum whose self proclaimed motto is "use our links to keep the website going" when in fact the website forum is a business that makes money for the owner of it and nothing else
endless examples of companies, people, businesses, etc. treating people like fools, especially those who play by the rules, and not only getting away with it, but making vast sums of money off the back of it.
