Fitting a head unit (car stereo/mp3/dvd player) is not always as hard to do as it may appear.

If the factory fitted radio is bigger than the standard size, then most good stores will have available a "fascia plate" all this does is make the hole a standard size to fit an after market radio.

Dependant on the car, an ISO connector will be needed. Dont panic!

Car stereo's wiring normally has two blocks. One block for the speaker connections, one block for power, live, earth, hands free, electric aerial, etc.
The block for the speakers will not fit in the block for the power, you are safe.

What is an ISO connector for?

An ISO connector, fits into the lead coming from your stereo, and connects it to your cars wiring.
It changes the pin configuration around from the industry standard for head units/cd players etc, to the configuration for your car manufacturer.

Its as simple as that!
Worst case scenario, the little fuse in the back of your stereo will blow, so just replace it. In 7 years of fitting head units into cars, I've had the fuse blow just twice.
