When you plaster board a ceiling, you don't always have the luxury of having someone around to help you.
There is an easy (ish) way to do it!

Find yourself two pieces of wood (I call them Bill and Ben) triple plyboard is normally strong enough.
Make sure they are about an inch or two bigger than the distance from your floor to your ceiling where the plaster board will go.

Have them close by as you climb your ladder and place your plaster board in place. Whilst holding the plaster board in place, angle "Bill" underneath, flexing it so it wedges against the plaster board - making sure it pushes against the beam you are screwing your plaster board into!

Repeat this with "Ben" at the otherside of your plaster board. You should now be able to let go of your plaster board and move it around to get the correct position, before adjusting your ladders and screwing it into place.
Once your screws are in, flex Bill and Ben, and move them away. Repeat with each plaster board.
